Pakistan’s President Expresses Condolences Over Floods and Landslides in Nepal
Islamabad: At the direction of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, former Chairman of the Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari and Presidential Spokesperson Murtaza Solangi visited the Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad to express condolences over the loss of lives and damage caused by the recent floods, landslides and glacial lake outburst in Nepal.
The two representatives visited the embassy to convey the condolences and solidarity of the President and people of Pakistan following the massive flooding and landslides last week in the China-Nepal border region.
Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan Rita Dhital received the delegation and expressed appreciation for the solidarity and support extended by the Government and people of Pakistan to Nepal during the difficult period.
Bokhari and Solangi also recorded messages of condolence and solidarity in the Visitors’ Book at the Embassy of Nepal.
